CPS (Chicago Public Schools) is in the process of blessing our children with another treat. The good news is instead of closing more schools, they’re investing $70 million into building a new one. According to the Chicago Tribune, the new school will be 135,000 square feet. And able to accommodate up to 1,200 students. The catch to this good news is that it’s being built on grounds that were used to store human remains.
But this just isn’t any old boring bone yard. According to historical records, the people who were buried here didn’t live the most pleasant lives. The site was used to bury patients from an infirmary and a tuberculosis hospital, tenants from a “Poor House”, victims of The Great Chicago Fire, and patients from an insane asylum.
If you’re a believer in the paranormal, and have heard your fare share of scary stories about disturbing old burial grounds by building buildings and homes on top of them. You’ll know that this new school is bound to hold a little more than 1,200 if you know what I mean.

In the Chicagoland area we are expecting about a foot of snow and so far it is looking like we will get that foot of snow. I was lucky enough to get the day off due to inclement weather. But here at IzzyVision Entertainment, there aren’t any off days. We are a collective group of great minds and talent who are constantly learning and working to bring you the best in entertainment. There are so many projects that we are working on. Currently we have the music video for IzzyVision’s own TonyBeenChi and King Dougie’s banger “Quan” in the works. “Quan” is TonyBeenChi’s first single. It was mixed and mastered by Bos Stacks and produced by Weatherman Beatz. This track does not disappoint. We are also working on our podcast, “Next Stop”, featuring myself and TonyBeenChi. “Next Stop” will feature entertainment news, comedy, trending topics, social issues, and will showcase Chicago’s local talent. The music video and the podcast are a couple of the projects you can expect from us within the next few months. We appreciate the love and support from our followers. We ask that you continue to support us in our journey to becoming the #1 source for entertainment in Chicago.
If you are taking a snow day, enjoy the day off because you’re awesome. Make this day off a day to better yourself and those around you. If you have to fight the storm and work. We love and appreciate what you do. Be safe. You also continue to be awesome and make those around you awesome.
