Shelter In Place By: G. Othello

Friday around 3 p.m., Illinois’ Governor, J.B. Pritzker, held a press conference where he issued an official stay at home order for all of Illinois’ residents. This was put in place to slow the coronavirus spread. This order was to take effect Saturday, March 22, 2020 at 5 p.m. through at least April 7th, 2020.

During this time, we’re encouraged to stay at home and only essential businesses are to remain open.

I am grateful to my employer for working diligently and finding a way for me to work from home. During this shelter in place order I plan to do some things I have been putting off for quite some time.

Organize the cords and wire behind my television. It’s such an eye sore.

Exercise (That’s unlikely)

Watch Ozark season 3 which is dropping March 27th

Spring cleaning! It’s a great time for that.

Since I’ve been working from home, I have more time to cook on weekdays. So, there are a few Gordan Ramsey recipes I want to cook with my new All Clad stainless-steel frying pan!

Try to find some got damn toilet paper. I am really frustrated at the people who hoarded the toilet paper. I mean… I just need one pack! I am running low. I blame myself though. I should’ve stocked up when everyone else was. I wasn’t buying into the hype though. But now approaching my last few rolls I am a bit salty. The things we take for granted (smh)… There is always the shower, right?

The list above isn’t a complete list, but some things I will be doing. Although I say it’s unlikely I will exercise, I will definitely go for a walk in my parking lot at least, because I walk and take public transportation to work and while working from home is awesome, I am without my 10,000+ daily steps. So, I must compensate for that.
